The Belly dance Blueprint Intensive course (19 hours)


A step by step belly dance blueprint that teaches you the art of tribal fusion, helping you to unlock creativity, develop mastery and step into flow!

The bellydance blueprint inspires fusion bellydancers and teachers (and beginners!) who want a step by step process to craft choreography and add more grace to their movement. I help dancers unlock their creativity and develop mastery of skills.

It provides a process to diversify your movement vocabulary, by creating new neural pathways (muscle memory) through layering exercises using the entire body! Unlike other courses that teach their own style and combos, i teach a not only technique (and combos) but also a blueprint that guides you to feel confident in creating your own authentic powerful work and I've have been on this mission of empowering dancers for over 15 years.

This intensive program will transform your perception as a creative belly dancer!

The teaching methodology has been developed as a result of 13 years experience in ATS (certified ATS teacher), Tribal Fusion as well as incorporating key concepts from Classical belly dance and Classical Indian Dance (Bharatanatyam). After releasing one of Australia's first tribal bellydance DVD series, I have helped thousands of women all over the world develop and learn holistic approaches to their practice.

The Bellydance Blueprint "ingredients"

The first videos include all of the bellydance blueprint Foundations or "ingredients": If you are a beginner, these foundations are what you will be focusing before moving on to the layering exercsies.

  • Muscle isolations
  • Arm patterns and poses
  • Foot patterns
  • Turns
  • Foot positions
  • Stage directions

The Focus Elements

To express varied pieces of music, it's important to develop diversity in your movement vocabulary, this is where the Focus elements come in!

You will then learn The five focus elements and how to create your own. These include:

  1. Muscle Focus
  2. Shape Focus
  3. Turn Focus
  4. Shimmy Focus
  5. Travel Focus

  • 19 hours of lessons! A complete immersion into the ‘science’ of creating tribal fusion choreography and combos! You can expect plenty of: Drills, combinations, variations, demonstrations & challenge sections!

 I definately gravitate towards smooth hip movements, like all directions of figure 8s, and other hip and belly movements that fuse nicely with them. But like with too much of anything, that becomes less interesting to watch, and is also not good for my body or creativity expansion within dance.
